The Aishling Care Academy was founded in 2018 after a 10 year ownership of a non-medical home care company. I am committed to educating both families and caregivers about the critical importance of Home Care and other types of care that CNAs provided to our diverse aging population. It is my goal to encourage, empower and deliver top-notch Certified Nursing Assistants who will make a difference in the lives of the seniors they provide care to.

As one of the fastest-growing occupations, CNAs will be able to provide care in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, Ccrc’s, Hospice, rehabilitation facilities, home health, home care and private care. We educate with purpose, passion, and pride.

"I went in thinking it wouldn’t be particularly tough due to me having my senses considered normal. However, this experience really opened my eyes to some of the issues people with dementia. Three minutes felt like ten, as well as it being tough to even walk with the objects in my shoes, I was able to remember a few of my tasks. But could hardly complete them (I think I did one full task and half of the second). The glasses and low lighting made it extremely difficult, now adding the gloves? Everything felt near impossible. The white noise only heightened my anxiety in the situation making everything else 100 times worse. Long story short as frightening and anxiety inducing as this was.
